The electromagnet is a converter that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy for linear motion. Relying on the coil to excite the fixed iron core, the piston-shaped or pill-shaped movable iron core starts to have operating skills. According to the form of power supply, it is divided into various electromagnets of AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current).

As functional parts that realize basic automation skills such as pulling, pushing, stopping, hitting, bending, etc., which are simple and economical, they are used in a wide range of life fields such as industrial automation, civilian machines, manufacturing machines, household appliances, and vending machines.

The distinction between AC laminated solenoid and DC open frame solenoid

The AC traction electromagnet takes the operation of the AC power supply as the main body. The shape of the movable iron core mainly uses a piston shape. The piston-shaped iron core is made of multi-layer silicon steel plates drilled and fixed with rivets. The coil has been processed for impact resistance, heat resistance, and wear resistance.

The DC open frame solenoid electromagnet takes the operation of the DC power supply as the main body. The shape of the movable iron core is mainly a round rod shape. The frame and movable iron core as the magnetic material are generally made of cold-rolled steel plate, fast-cutting steel or round steel.
